About us

We are a leading player in Italy and Romania in the design, construction and maintenance of photovoltaic power plants, security systems and CCTV, with a portfolio of over 600 MW, of which we manage - as an O&M contractor - over 365 MW, corresponding to approximately 130 large-scale ground-mounted and industrial rooftop photovoltaic systems, 150 small-scale wind turbines and 3 hydroelectric power plants with a total installed capacity of 17 MW.

Milestones

2009

Esapro is born, out of a company based in the Veneto region and active since 1980 in the field of electrical, technological and automation systems, in order to respond to the need of private, industrial and financial investors to have a single, highly specialised partner for the construction and management of large photovoltaic systems, both ground-mounted and on industrial rooftops.

2010

Esapro Control is established, a company wholly controlled by Esapro and authorised by the Prefecture of Padua to provide remote monitoring and alarm management services for the protection of renewable energy plants and/or energy infrastructures distributed throughout Italy.

2011

Esapro Romania is established.

2017

Esapro Holding is founded, which takes over the stakes of Esapro, Esapro Control and Esapro Romania.

2022

Algebris Investments takes over Esapro Holding to develop its client portfolio and expand the company’s production capacity throughout Italy.

Where we operate

We are present throughout Italy with 5 fixed local units and 1 mobile local unit to cover the whole Italian territory. Our registered office is located in Milan and our operational offices are in San Pietro in Gu (Padua), San Cesareo (Rome), Molfetta (Bari), Mesagne (Brindisi), Canicattì (Agrigento) and Macerata.

We also operate in Romania with our subsidiary Esapro RO, set up in 2011. It is based in Timisoara and has a service centre in Braila. We have warehouses to store materials and spare parts at our premises in San Pietro in Gu (Padua), Molfetta (Bari), Mesagne (Brindisi) and Canicattì (Agrigento).
