Thermographic analysis

Infrared check

We perform thermographic analysis with RPAS (remotely piloted aircraft systems or drones), a special technique that is essential to prevent damage and anomalies in photovoltaic systems. Infrared imaging is effective in detecting a wide range of anomalies and damage in photovoltaic systems, such as hot spots, bypass diode short circuits and open strings.

Thermographic analysis is especially recommended in the following cases:

  • fire risk analysis and prevention
  • aesthetic anomalies
  • underperforming system

The ideal period for these tests is spring-summer, with a minimum irradiation level of 600 W/m2 and a minimum ambient temperature of 15 °C.
